The new album, "Entity, Chapter III: A Sudden Glimpse of Clarity" was released just a few days ago I wanted to do a video and have a closer look at what the "Entity" story and concept is about, and what it means to myself on a personal level.

The third and final Entity chapter is out!

The new album, "Entity, Chapter III: A Sudden Glimpse of Clarity" is now officially released on digital and physical format! 
It is available as a digital album on all major platforms, and a strictly limited jewelcase CD edition (200 copies, only available via Bandcamp).

New single "A Place to Call Home" announced!

As you probably already guessed, a new digital single will be released on Bandcamp and every major streaming platform on Friday October 3rd. 

The song is entitled "A Place to Call Home", and is taken from the new album that will be released a bit further down the line. More details will be announced soon.

The lyrics are done. What's next?

Hello everyone! I figured I'd make a new post to give you a brief update on what's happening.

As you probably read from the headline already, the lyrics are completed, and I'm really pleased with the end result! At the time of the previous post I only had one more track to write lyrics for, and I believe I managed to finish it the next day. I really enjoyed the process of writing lyrics this time, so I was actually a bit bummed that they were done already, but that just meant I was able move on with the next step in the process.

RECORDING GUIDE VOCALS
In order to be able to show the guest singers how I am imagining the vocals, I need to record the vocal lines myself. I started recording these so called "guide vocals" pretty much immediately after completing the lyrics, and I even finished those within a couple days.

 
My X1 microphone (sE Electronics) was used for both guide vocals, and all the

acoustic guitars on the new album. Headphones are BeyerDynamic DT 770 PRO.

WHAT'S NEXT?
In early February I sent the guide vocal files out to their respective guest singers, and some of them are even working on their parts already!

Things are definitely happening, and the thought of a 2025 release of the new album doesn't seem unlikely at all.

Album recording update

Hello everyone! I decided to make a small post about the current status on the album recording progress, and I guess it was about time with a written one.

LYRICS
Since the previous video update was posted less than two weeks ago I have been hard at work, writing a ton of lyrics. By then I had reached about ten minutes into the album lyric wise, and at this point I have actually passed the 31 minute mark.

I am hoping to soon be able to finish writing, because then I will be able to record my guide vocal tracks for the singers. I am really happy with the stuff I have written down, and I can't wait to hear them being sung by the guest singers that I have in mind.

I really think you'll like what you'll hear.

RECORDING

As you can see underneath, all the instrumental tracking and recording is done, which means that all that is left now are the vocals, before resuming the mixing, and the last, but very important step; mastering.

I am very happy with the mix at this point, but since the vocals are not part of it yet, I am expecting to have some fine tuning to do before it is all done. 

I do have an idea of what the album title will be, but I'll save that for a video update at a later date.
